Dr. Claire Ashbaugh

 

Dr. Claire Ashbaugh is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington and New Mexico. She is also licensed to complete evaluations via videoconference technology in 39 other states. She received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from Sam Houston State University. She completed her doctoral internship at Western State Hospital in Washington State. Dr. Ashbaugh worked for the State of Washington as a forensic evaluator for criminal courts across the state for more than a decade. She is well versed in performing psychological evaluations that answer legal questions. Dr. Ashbaugh strives to provide neutral, fact-based expert opinions.

Dr. Claire Ashbaugh founded Alpine Haven Psychology Services in 2021 to expand her forensic work in criminal matters and address immigration matters. She is fluent in French and speaks Spanish at an intermediate level. She has extensive experience working with language interpreters. Dr. Ashbaugh also strives to consider each individual’s unique characteristics, experiences, culture, and society.

 
 

 Dr. Claire Ashbaugh is located in Seattle and currently provides services in the State of Washington and New Mexico. Dr. Ashbaugh’s Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) application was approved, which allows her to practice via videoconference technology in PSYPACT participating states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming).
